A Trip to Atlantic City

Its been more than 2 years since we live in NJ and we haven't visited Atlantic city. We used to plan but something comes up and we kept postponing. A friend is here on his business trip, so we had a chance to plan for this trip yesterday. It was a short trip. We started from NY yesterday noon and came back by 12 in the night.

We have never been to casinos before, so we had a good time. We went by bus and got down at Trump Plaza.

We didnt know where to start in the casino but started playing on a machine. A started with 5$ and lost everything. I too started with 5$ and to my pleasant surprise I won 64$. I was full of smiles when the machine started adding money and rang the bells continuously to annouce the winner. We were all curious as when the counting would stop :p

A kept trying with 5, 10 and 20$ and didnt win anything. I played with the money I won and won 20$ again. We kept moving from machine to machine and had fun. When we were roaming around, A showed us a machine with 5 written on it. I and our friend immediately thought it was a 5c/credit machine and inserted a 5$ bill. sema aapu - it swallowed our bills and allowed for one spin :D

We had some snacks and continued to walk near the beach. It was so cold yesterday. Anyway, we knew the weather and arranged for the trip as we have other plans for the forthcoming weekends.

We moved to Caesars, Ballys and Wild west casino and played randomly, lost around 80$. Before we decided to start back, we tried a game. thani thaniya vilayadama, I and A played together. Mudhal Mariyadhai'la Sivaji, Raadha senthu meen pidikara raasi maathri ;-) and yeyy,  luck was on our side. We won 115$ :-) Since it was a 5c credit game, the points kept adding before it reached ~2000. So, we were like all excited and laughing.

Our bus was at 9.15pm and we headed back to NY and reached by 11.30pm. We then reached home by 12.30pm. It was a fun trip :-)
