observation

I read this statement somewhere

"Don't take anyone's behavior personally, and you'll be much better off. "

Its true. But looks like its easier for Men and not for poor ladies (atleast me). is that so? Am getting hurt often by taking others comments personally and its taking _hell_ lot of time to come out of it. pasangha'luku elaam athu easyaa??

see when someone says something not nice

1. say him/her that u got offended and make sure they dont repeat this...

2. just ignore them. there r lots of ppl who dont fall in #1...i mean if u tell them dont repeat it...they dont follow it..and never associate with these ppl...even if situation demands move with them in a distant way...

[these two points were based on the fact that they say something wrong. the 3rd one is a bit different]

3. sometimes we tend to over analyze things which are not required....infact a casual comment might seem bad if we start analyzing it...

if someone tells me something, i show them three fingers (like putting a naamam) and tell them to "read between the lines".. :)

Oye J,
Dont know what the context is,
but it really helps to be a little detached and not over analyze things.

Yes I know it is difficult, but it is worth practicing.

And me and whoosh seem to give you excellent ideas ;)

Hope you feel better.

Thats very true J.

As SK said, don't over analyze things.
Yeah, that's diffcult depending on how sensitive we are.(not just for gals)

You know what someone might have said the comment totally due to a different incident and that might lead us to belive it is directed towards us. It's personal experience :)

You know, I put a post saying "I wont be reading ur blog and visit mine and i'll visit only when I think abt u". I wrote that since i was getting addicted to blogs( mostly reading others) . But a person took it personally and got offended !!!

But still if u think something is directed at u foloow "me"'s advice :)

take care J.
