Srinivas voice is awesome ! music by our melody pugazh 'Vidhyasagar'. first time kaekrappavae sila songs thaan pidikum. antha maathri intha song enaku irunthathu. Music (beats) in the other song "Chinna chinna sigarangal .." is also too good. Thippu has done a good job.

Gnyabagam Varudhae ..

My sis' exams are going on. enaku leave'naala, I took her to the examination centre. athu oru school. angha class rooms, notice board, school timings, board, teachers elam paatha udanae enaku ennoda school, college gavanam vanthudthu. ennoda sis exam mudiyara varaikum (3hrs) I had to wait outside. So I was thinking about my exams in school and college. Romba college pathi gavanam vanthu, athu marubadi kedaikaathaenu aekam vanthudthu. hhmm :'(

Lonavala

First time I heard this word today. There was a mail to all of us saying that the company trip for this year has been planned and the place is "Lonavala". mail paatha udanae kushi. enghayo kootitu poga poraanghanu :-) Our company does this for the employees. Every year we go somewhere during the pooja hols. intha year konjam munnadiyae iruku. When I joined, the strength of the company was very less. ippa 3 times adigam aayudthu. First year enghayum pola cos of some reason. 2'nd year we went to Vizag. Whew! I just love that place. Beach elam romba clean'a supera irunthathu. Next year Blore - Golden SPA resort ku. place was ok but veliya enghayum poi enjoy panna mudiyala. antha resort roomla irunthutu, saaptu + kongham games organize pani irunthaangha. so it was not that much fun for me. swimming pool irunthathu. so swimming theringhavangha elam fulla "thani" la irunthaangha. enaku mudiyalai :( ennoda close friends angha irunthathunala, thappichen. 1 day fulla avanghaloda suthitu enjoy pannen :-)

And, last year Goa ponom. Again beach. Wow, beach la nikarathu thani sugam :-) chumma manal'a ukkanthu paakratha irukatum, kaal nanaira alavu thanila nikaratha irukatum, or kongham ulla poi inum nalla nanairathu (oh, this I have tried in Goa only; generally avlo thooram poga maaten) ellamae rombbba pidikum enaku :-) Oct'la ponom. Decemberla Tsunami paathutu, naan angha ninutu irunthathu nenachu paathen. happa Scary !!

Ah I miss my friends whenever I go for any company trip. enaku offficela avlo close friends ilai. College'la thaan. avangha kooda ponaaa thaaan mastha irukum :-) Hmm company trip poyitu vanthappram chappunu irukum. enjoy panreno ilayo, next time mail varappa, enghayo porenu nenachu I will start feeling happy :-)

Anyway I will be going in Aug only. inum neriya naal iruku :-)

Nuvvu osthaavantae naenu odhantaana?

Ah, I am not scolding anyone :). Dumbs, (if you are reading this) u got the meaning ryt? Anyway, this is the title of a telugu movie which I saw recently. Guess who is the directory? (South) India's Michael Jackson, Mr.Prabhu Deva "gaaru" (telugula mariyathaya solren pa ;-)). Hero - Sidharth (Boys fame), Heroine - Thrisha.

officela iruka telugu makkal intha movie romba nalla irukunu sonaangha. Prabhu devaku aada thaan theriyum, ivanuku en intha direction velai ellamnu manasula nenachen (Prabhu deva fans - no offense meant. enakum avana pidikum BTW :-)).

paatha padam 100 days. apdi enna thaan irukunu I went with my mom and sis to Hyd's gigantic Prasad multiplex theatre.
Movie went really cool. namaku therinja subject thaan, but good screenplay, songs, dance (sollavae vendaam). 21/2 hrs nalla pochu jollyaa :-). Trisha tamizhla vida telugula kongham nalla nadikaraanu thonuchu. I like almost all songs in this movie, particularly "Adhirae Adhirae" (singer - Jessie gift), "Niluvadhamu Ninu Epudaina" (singer - Karthik) and "Aakasham" (fav SPB).

Ah, Telugu is also a sweet language. "Sundara telugninil paatisaithu" - oru tamizh kavingar, Telugu'va azhagana mozhi'nu soli irukaar la :-)

Indru oru thagaval ...

Do you know/remember "Thenkachi Ko Swaminathan"? Yes, the Gentleman who used to say "Indru oru thagaval" at 7.40 am in all India radio. 5 min thaan solluvar.For those who dont know him - ethavathu oru kadhai solitu, athula irunthu oru karuthu soli, kadisila oru joke soli mudipaar. School padikarapa, daily kaepen. cos ennoda Tamizh Ayya (Sarathkumar illai ;-) - we used to call our tamizh teacher as "Ayya" and Hindi teacher as "Ji" - cha oru vaarthai vidama movie per'a pochu ippa hehe) avaroda period la ennai "indru oru thagaval" solla soluvaar. so athu mathri enaku pazhakam.

Appo start pannathu thaannu nenaikaren. I narrate well (ppl say so :p). Cinema, Function, Party ipdi ethuva irunthaalum, aarambathula irunthu end varaikum onu vidama soluven.

ippa the same gentleman is doing "Indha naall iniya naall" in sun TV everyday at 8.55am. Again for 5 min only. Last month I think, I was watching this program and he talked abt possessiveness. Somehow I liked it and wanted to blog also. oru kadhai sonnar.

Here it is ..

oru aaloda veetla etho fire accident. Avar veliya irunthu orae kathi kathi azhutu irukaar. At that time, his first son came to him and said "Appa, namma veeta nethae orutharku vithutom." Immediately, the father started smiling and was happy. appo his second son came and said "Appa, annan nethu orutharku vikkalamnu soli elam ready panitaan. but inaiku thaan naan documents elam ready panalamnu soli inum vikkalai." Now again this father started crying.

Then Thenkachi Ko Swaminathan continued saying the karuthu from this story. He said, "Eppo antha aal avanoda veedunu nenachano appa avanuku varutham irunthathu. atha porulai ezhanthiduvomnu bayam, kavalai irunthathu. Eppo avanodathu illaenu nenachaano, appa he was happy". ithula irunthu puringhuka vendiyathu, ethuvumae nammalodathu kedaiyathu.

Again, Geethasaramla iruka mathri "Ethai nee eduthu kondaayo, athu ingirunthae edukapattathu .....". Athae maathri namalum irukanumnu.

It may sound silly to someone but atha kaetutu naan kongham think pannen. I just applied my possessiveness with my friends, family, job, my place at work, my monitor, my keyboard etc etc (see how many 'my's). Ah, nijama ithellam ennai vittu poga koodathunu I feel always. Mostly friends'oda thaan romba possessive, insecured feeling elam. Avangha vera yaarkoodavathu close aana, nalla pesina elam enaku kovam varum, sandai varum :p

kashtamnu therinju en namma apdi feel pannanum? ethuvumae/yaarumae eppavumae namma kooda iruka mudiyathu la. so y holding them tight and feel bad later when we lose them. Hmm.

SK's wedding, get-together story - Part II (End)

Friday April 22nd:

Thursday night thoonghavae rommba late aayudthu. we were talking abt the reception, ppl and the next day wedding stuff. SK was too tired by then. But then we got up early (4am). elarum kelamba aarambichom. we have planned to leave the mandabam by 7.30am so that we could reach the church in time. That was soo nice to see SK in her wedding saree with lot of jewels, bangles, crown and veil :) typical christian bride !!

we both went to the dinning hall, quickly grabbed some food. we got into the decorated AC car (Yeah, privileged me to accompany the bride :)). Kishore was in the other car. His sis accompanied us and SK's brother was with kishore. Our car started first. I sat in the front seat.
The The morning climate was good, for us it was cool indeed cos of the AC :) Gosh! roads in Chennai are pleasant; I had never been to the nice roads like the ones we travelled through the other day. Probably I havent visited many places in chennai; Whenever I think of chennai, I remember the hot dry ones without the trees.

Anyway, that was a smooth ride in the car. we reached the Besant Nagar church by 8, I think. Kishore's car has also reached. Church'la Mass (is this the spelling? not sure) nadanthutu irunthathu. so we had to wait outside. I got out of the car, so that our mappillai could sit inside the AC car ;-). People started coming for the wedding and there was a big crowd. Our guys (who came for the reception and stayed in the hotel) have reached. I was eager to see few more college ppl. Whew!! Niruban and gang had come and orae satham aarambichaachu :) I met Lawrence (RT), Desigan (Auto), Gopi (PT), sankar (PT), Mahesh (PT), Narendra Sastha (Only junior who turned up for the wedding).

Allwyn (PT) came with his usual smile and commented Kishore for his formal dress "Machaan, ipdi irupenu therinjha kongham late'a vanthu irupen da" :) Kishore suthi orae crowd. None of them were close to me, so I was very quiet and simply watching all those funny stuff. Our class guys SK, Prakash and Sugu got mingled with the gang.

Mass mudinghathu. SK iruntha car apdiyae church entrance'ku vanthathu. Ellarum ulla poga aarambichom. God! the Church was soo serene. Some song was played aloud and that was sooooooooo nice to hear; refreshing !! orae bakthi feeling after seeing all these. Nice !
I have heard of all those formalities but first time, church'la wedding paakren. As always, bible padichaangha 2 perum. SK read it soo nice. oru oru vaarthayum theliva, it was soo nice. Kishore epdi padichu irupaanu unghalukae theriyum (mannichuko Kishore :p). sari sari, but then, he tried and did a good job only :-)

Meanwhile someone distributed the atchadai (arisi) to the people around. After completing the oath, traditional thaali katrathu nadanthathu. Everyone stood up and blessed the couple. Yeah, that was a bit senti moment too !!

Ah, the wedding was over and few guys gifted the couple there itself. SK's parents and I were rushing back to the mandabam as we would have to receive the couple there with the aarathi and all. I could see the busy Chennai outside unlike the morning calm one. we reached the mandabam and did all the formalities. SK and Kishore were on the stage, and again there was a queue for the photo session, gifts etc.

Rukmani and her husband came for the reception. avanghaloda naan photo eduthen. Rukmani, antha photo anupareenghala enaku? ..kongham neram irunthaangha. Hey, I met Balakumar, Baburaj and Lakshmi Narayanan. Good to see u guys :-) Nagavel, RK irunthaangha. Ah, namma Sivaprasad kooda vanthaar. busy man. half-a-day permissionla vanthaar. oru Hi solrathukula avanuku hahhhaa. naana, Sivaprasadnu kooptadhuku, "enna chollu" nu siruchutae keezha guniji, mela paathu (remember his style?) Sivaprasad, u reading this??? :)

Who else did I meet? Reception vida neriya per irunthaangha wedding;ku. As we did in the reception, the whole college gang of ours were ready near the dias for the photo session. By then, relatives were busy there. So we were requested to wait for sometime. Ofcourse, we cant ask the relatives no :) friends can wait !!

Kishore apdiyae vervaila nanaju poi irunthaan. Just imagine wearing coat, suit and all in the SUMMER. apdi thaan SK;ku pattu saree kooda irunthu irukum. athaan ppl were making fun of Kishore. Ah, ellarum stage mela ponom. Niruban (on behalf of all) gave some gift to SK and then they gave 1 rs and 50 paise as a gift to Kishore :)

we had lunch together. Time has come. naan kelamba vendi irunthathu. Renuka hostelku shift pannanum naan. Many of our guys left. SK, RK, Prakash, Raaja (Prakash friend - pratheep u too know him no?) and myself were there. appavum enaku oru nappaasai, enghayathu veliya polaamnu. Prakash was too tired and he was simply cribbing :)Main;a prakash thaan engaluku recreation :) Thanks praks :)

romba ipdi naan kaetutu irukappa, SK had come up with some plan (namma SK eppavum panuvaan atha :))
like enkooda vanthu hostela bag pottutu, apdiyae ethavathu theatre vara maathri and he asked RK and prakash to book the tickets. Prakash othukavae ilai..naan roomku ponum ponum solitae irunthaan. (like Kamal in 16 vayadhinilae, "santhaiku ponum blah blah"). avana samathanam panrathukula pothum pothum aayudthu. finally we compelled him to accompany us. aprama ok sonnaan :)

apram Kishore, SK'kita elam solitu kelambitom. SK, naan kelambi thiruvanmayur poyitom. Renuka, naan, SK, hostel terrace'la pesitu irunthom. Ah, that was soo nice talking to SK :) romba comfortable'a..so nice of u SK :) oru maathri classmate, vera yaaro apdi elam thonalai. romba nalla pesitu irunthom :) Ofcourse, this is applicable to most of our class ppl :)

Ok, then we got a call from Prakash asking us to come to satyam theatre. RK ticket book pana poraannu. intha lazy payan Prakash kooda polai. Thanks RK, unnala thaan aniku padam paathen :)

apram jollya pochu..like padam paakrathu confirm aayudthunu hehe :) SK, naan, Renuka autola kelambi Satyam theatre ponom. RK ticket vaanghitaan. I wanted to see Thalaivar's movie in theatre. But he got for Mumbai Express. Ok that was also fine for me.
Prakash, Raaja vanthaangha. SK wanted to leave inbetween as he got an appointment with the dentist the same day.

So, we all set now.

Romba munnadi thaan seat kedachudhu. Movie was hilarious. Hey, RK oda ithu thaan first movie paakren. Hayoo, avan epdi sathama sirikaran. He was totally involved in the movie. apram thaaan solran "naan eppavum ipdi thaan. sentiya irunthaalum, comedya irunthaalum fulla involve aayiduven"nu..too much !!!
